The Lion’s Share
d.  The Lion’s Share (end of T24 victory)
If no kingdom has won by any other victory condition, victory goes to the player
with the highest accumulated status points.  Status points awarded on the turn the
game is won or on T24 are at x2 value of those awarded on T6, T12, and T18.  If
the game is won by The Lion’s Share, that winning player receives 3000
additional status points as does the victor under any victory condition.
The Meta Game
F.  THE META GAME.  Interesting that Fall of Rome and other games of the
Kingdoms of Arcania franchise attract very dedicated followers that play many of our
games simultaneously.  No doubt, beyond the obvious quality of the experience, part of
this is due to the recognition given the top players through our web page called Valhalla.
This is where all players who have accumulated significant status points – game
achievements  and victories – are recognized, applauded, and have their name shown in
lights.  Chief among the rankings in Valhalla are status points – the accumulation of
points acknowledging the strength of their position in each game.  The player personas at
the top of our Valhalla lists are the top strategy gamers in the world!
Personas
i.  Personas.  Each player is allowed to choice up to three different personas he
will be known by in his games.  Your listing in Valhalla, and the status points you obtain,
will be owned by the personas you establish, rather than to you directly.  In this way, you
may have a persona that is known for always being a player of honor who would never
consider an act of deception, yet have an alter-ego that is diabolical and conniving. The
only drawback again to this dual personality is that each game requires one persona that
is fixed, and if you choose more than one persona in your various games, your status
points will be accordingly split among the personalities.  There are no special characters
or numerals allowed.  You may have up to two spaces in the name, but not consecutive
spaces.  We have a high standard for choosing personas, and if we or others find a
persona name selection offensive, it will be altered or if in particularly bad taste, we may
remove that player from our community and our gaming experience.  Choose a persona
in the flavor of the game and enjoy the atmosphere of Fall of Rome.
Status Points
ii.  Status Points.  Achievements in each game are recognized through an award
of  Status Points every six turns.  At the end of the sixth, twelfth, eighteenth, and game
ending turn, a program reviews the holdings, accomplishments, character and brigade
standings in each game and awards status points to the persona playing that kingdom.
These status points are reflected that day in an update to Valhalla, and often determine
