Fall of Rome Announces New Value Pricing
Dateline: Dallas, Texas, October 11, 2005

The Origins 2005 Game of the Year for online multiplayer games, Fall of Rome (www.fallofromegame.com), has initiated new value pricing effective immediately, Enlightened Age Entertainment President Rick McDowell announced.

"Now, new players, following their free trial, can enjoy Fall of Rome for just $8.95 monthly. That provides ten action packed turns each month in our award winning episodic strategy game at about the price of a single movie ticket", McDowell said. The pricing is significantly below that of other popular online game subscriptions. Asked why the company had made this move with its premier product, he said,

"We continue to strive to reach an under-served audience: adults who once played strategy board games or war games and might like to rediscover the enjoyment and satisfaction of a more immersive and challenging diversion than another click-fest or sitting through a TV show. We need those people to find us and the entertainment value we provide, evidenced by the Game of the Year Award and the terrific reviews the game has received. Most players that find us and give Fall of Rome a go stay with us as avid fans. This move is us reaching out to those future players with a warm invitation."

More Great Reviews for Fall of Rome!

Fall of Rome received yet another stellar review from Wargamer.com. It is truly "something special." Why don't you take a look and judge it for yourself.

Lower Prices! New Service Level!

As you may have seen on the Press Release, we've reduced pricing. Here's the new schedule:

Service Level New Monthly Price
Warrior (1 regular game at a time)8.95
Commander (2 regular, 1 standby, 1 cohort)14.95
Victor (3 regular, 2 standby, 2 cohorts)19.95
Imperator (4 regular, 3 standby, 3 cohorts)24.95

Essentially, we cut the introductory service level price by 30%, and reduced the other levels one pricing level, so you get Victor level service for what it used to cost just for Commander.

We have introduced the new Imperator Level service. This is for our premier players who now enjoy an incredible value of up to 7 games plus multiple setups (cohorts) in Campaigns of Centurion when it becomes available for what amounts to about 30 cents a turn for their Fall of Rome games. We must be CRAZY! Not only that, but Imperators are automatically invited to be playtesters for upcoming releases, the first of which will be Campaigns. Imperators also will receive a special badge both in the Kingdoms roster of each game and in Valhalla.
